For this app, I collaborated in an agile development team with a UI designer, UX designer, product owner and myself as Senior Digital Copywriter.
Complete Wi-Fi is a premium add-on to BT Broadband, a booster disc which amplifies the signal strength around your home.
The aim of the app was to turn a rather complicated set up process into an easy-to-follow guide.
I relied on pair-writing with a technical expert, where we collaborated on creating the simplest explanations and instructions possible.
User testing with a beta-version of the app was also invaluable in revealing user pitfalls that we hadn’t foreseen.
I spent the last three days before deadline in Belfast with the app developers, fine tuning all the screens to make sure everything looked and worked right.
This app within an app won 1st place in the Best App category at the UK Digital Experience Awards (DXA '19).
